I'm not a doll, I'm an ACTION FIGURE
i started a flickr group "It's not a doll, It's an ACTION FIGURE", trying to start an action figure revolution! i put together a sign and want to encourage anyone and everyone to take the sign or create your own, take your favorite action figure and start snapping away!!! take a photo and join the flickr group or e-mail me the photo at itsnotadoll@gmail.com and i will post it up with your credits.
if you live in south florida, the bear and bird team pre-made some of these signs that you can pick-up (they even hid some in the cases....lol) and while you are there you can check out the "It's not a doll, It's an ACTION FIGURE" Artshow

The show is Officially Open!!!!!
"Its not a doll, It's an Action Figure" is officially open and on display at The Bear and Bird Gallery. I have to thank all the artists for all their amazing work, The Bear and Bird Staff, and especially Amanda the gallery owner for the opportunity to put together this awesome show.
We had a great turn-out, and everyone I spoke to really enjoyed the show. And thanks to TOMOPOP & RevMiami for coming out and interviewing us and reviewing the show and to all the new friends I made.

Artist, Designer & Blogger
From Dallas, Texas
Charles Howell and his blog Eclectorama are the inspiration behind "It's not a doll, It's an ACTION FIGURE". Charles sent a mego Spock on "Spockcation" starting last year all over north America. I had the pleasure of taking Spock to the Hukilau and that inspired me to start taking photos of action figures and other toys. So a big thank you to Mr. Howell.
