i had 2 of my friends send me this photo asking if this was me my husband and my boston..... no, but i wish it was... yes i love storm troopers but sadly i do not dress as one, two i love and own a boston terrier with one blue eye and one brown eye... with white on half his face... but this cutie is not my bowie. and third i don't think i could convince my husband to wear white pants, lol.

tron legecy is finally here.... i will be heading in the next couple of days to see it in IMAX. i had my friend tell me this morning that rotten tomatoes gave it a 48%, and she is expecting this movie to be like the 2009 Star Trek. my expectations are different, i just want to be blown away by the visuals and if disney provides a great story that will just be a bonus. Tron in the 80's was a visual effects masterpiece, stretching the visual boundaries of the time and that's exactly what i expect from this movie.

below are a few great photos of "Tron Guy" for you to enjoy, i wonder how many people dressed up for the opening, i am sure tron guy did..... maybe even slept a few days camping out in front of a theater. enjoy!

this computer design is modeled after the 50's philco tv set. designed by Dave Schultze, these 3d rendering are incredible. the design of the keyboard, amazing. for all the writers out there who love the feel of typewriter keys, this would be a a godsend.

love the pose and everything about this picture of keith richards. i believe this was taken on the Rolling Stones 1975 tour, called "Tour Of The Americas". photo found on diet coke and sympanthy blog, they said photo is from a collection of photos by Christopher Simmon Sykes and Annie Leibovitz photos published in a book called "The Rolling Stones On Tour".

2010 Disney Star Wars Weekend Posters

here are the ones they had for 2010. keep in mind if hitting Disney World this year or the beginning of next year, Star Tours is closed and is being upgraded and changed, due to be finished by later 2011(see the trailer below). the jedi store and jedi academy are still open.

i am a little sad but happy about the change.... when star tours first opened in Disneyland it was my favorite ride, i used to ride it over and over again hoping a wookiee would appear and sit next to me(never happened :( ). it was also where i got faked out by a disney employee.... i was with my friend christine and we were just about to go on the ride when an employee starts yelling at me with disgust on their face, "YOU HAVE POOH ON YOUR SHIRT!!!". guess what i did..... winnie the pooh...

star tours fun fact: Paul Reubens(PeeWee Herman) was the voice of REX the main robot on star tours.

on wednesday i spent the day at Disney World, it is my happy place... and when we took the monorail to Epcot, we rode in style..... on the TRON-O-RAIL!!!! it was cool but i wish it would have been lit up instead of just a wrap around.... take a look at a few pics from disney and a couple i took with the hipstomatic app on my iphone. enjoy!
